Globy 1.5

Globy is a action game with some role-playing elements. It has a decent story, however, you might lose track of it because it isn't really important in the game. The gameplay is really fast-paced and mostly action based. The only RPG elements are that you can buy new magical abilities at the shop and use potions to heal or replenish mana. Also it is designed like an open world with many levels.

The game is played from a 3rd person perspective, and you control a character named Dreamy. He is a prince in a fantasy world where an evil force is attacking and he is the only one who can defeat it. In order to do so, he has to collect some orbs which are scattered around the kingdom. To collect the orbs, he has to fight his way through a number of floating islands which are designed as levels. Each level will get progressively harder, and you'll encounter more powerful monsters.

The gameplay is very simple. You move with WASD and shoot and aim with the mouse. You can only use two spells at a time. The first one is your basic attack, and the second is a more powerful one which costs mana. You will gain gold from killing monsters with which you can buy more powerful spells. The level design is really simple and most of the time is linear. Also there are quite a few types of monsters, and very few of them. This can make the game repetitive after the first 5 levels. It is also too easy, and not much of a challenge, because there are no other difficulty settings. more
